Have met in this moment of supreme suspense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bush of \ufb02ames that once gave name to You<\/p>\n\n\n\n

burns again and determines an essential place<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the center of intensity of this compression of forms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All converges and shines forth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This crossroad of powers<\/p>\n\n\n\n

is the propagation of Your life<\/p>\n\n\n\n

in ocher and green, clay and foliage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earth has its hub,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

from the tenuous simmering, diffuse, stabilizing,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You are within reach of our hands, of our lips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Your bread waters the desert of absence<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and anchors our memories<\/p>\n

in proclaiming You.<\/p>\n\n

open themselves to the seed of their ful\ufb01llment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fruit surrendered for our hunger and for our thirst<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your bread has the taste of human<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and divine life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your Spirit<\/p>\n\n

still has no other way out<\/p>\n\n\n\n

than to open a gap<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and to con-spire with Mary<\/p>\n\n\n\n

for this body<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And this other body<\/p>\n\n\n\n

that, from us,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

you produce for this age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Love then<\/p>\n\n\n\n

can do its work:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to re-join us<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to gather together what we<\/p>\n\n\n\n

might put in discord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We dwell in longing<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to make Your body<\/p>\n\n\n\n

come to be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Come make of us<\/p>\n\n\n

a sheaf, a wheat stack,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

bound within.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And nothing exists<\/p>\n\n\n\n
