Testimony of Sister Lucie Perline<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our staff have a day of recollection during the high points of the liturgical calendar, even if they’re not Catholic. This time I had the joy of sharing the Word of God<\/strong> with them. They were happy to have this experience, too. Sometimes it’s also a call for them and for us to move towards marriage preparation<\/strong> for those of them who are Catholics. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The community of older sisters in Soavimbahoaka has a particular apostolate of prayer<\/strong>. One of the sisters in the community also has a mission in a parish. <\/p>\n

Sister Gabrielle is responsible for catechesis and spiritual accompaniment<\/strong> in a large parish in the diocese of Antananarivo: \u201cParoisse 67ha Marie Manjaka.\u201d<\/p>\n

She is the coordinator but works in teams with laypeople<\/strong> to lead groups of children, young people, and adults in catechesis and provide spiritual guidance to catechists and parents of pupils. In all, 470 people are accompanied. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Every Sunday morning, we came together in joy<\/strong> and especially for sharing<\/strong>. From 7.30 am to 9.30 am for the first group and from 9.30 am to 11.30 am for the second group. <\/p>\n

In this mission, the difficulties lie in the reality that the parishioners come from different regions. So, it’s a bit difficult to reconcile different mentalities and cultures. <\/p>\n

Moreover, because we are so numerous, we don’t have enough equipment, even though the parish helps us a lot.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The story of a wish: to give as much as we receive<\/strong><\/p>\n

We’d like to tell you the story of our collaborations with lay people<\/strong> this year.<\/p>\n

Since the reopening of the spiritual centre, the Spirit has given us the gift of collaborators in the Mystery of the Cenacle and, year after year, these relationships deepen and become more refined.<\/p>\n

In our community orientation for this year, we have expressed the desire to focus on the gifts of each collaborator and to give each one the formation and apostolic opportunities that flow from them. From the laity emerged the desire to grow as a group in unity, belonging and formation around faith sharing. These moments were prepared in turn by a sister of the Cenacle and one or two collaborators. They were powerful and meaningful moments. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

From an apostolic point of view and of the life of the house, a couple, Davide and Letizia, collaborated with Sister Luisa and Sister Marie Dolores to offer a discernment course for young people. Flavia has been involved for years with Anna Maria and Father Antonello in leading the monthly retreat, which is open to all. Flavia has also collaborated for many years in leading the EVO (Exercises in Ordinary Life) and is working this year with a new team made up of Alessandro and Cristiana and Sisters Nancy and Patrizia. Germana prepares and leads the meetings for the seniors with Sister Claudia. As for Alessandro (a young man), he had a great proposal for the Sunflower group run by Anna Maria. Francesca and Daiana support Eucharistic adoration, which is open to everyone on Thursday mornings, and help the sisters in the community with many other services. Daiana also helps with table service at the monthly retreats. <\/p>\n

In this collaboration, lay people and sisters are linked to the Cenacle by a common desire: to give others what has been received and is received as life and vitality in the Cenacle of Rome<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
