On May 15 and June 11, the sisters of the Congregation were invited to gather around the well of the sisters of Europe-Togo. The General Team had asked them to share their experience of putting their human resources in common when they transitioned from three Provinces into one in 2011. <\/p>

In each session, five sisters shared from a particular perspective: for example, what it was like to serve in leadership and experience oneself as a human resource put in common, how it was to serve as a formator and to be a sister in formation in this new context, concrete experiences of the poverty and richness encountered in day-to-day life in an intercultural community, the challenge of embracing diversity while seeking also to maintain specificity and the complexity entailed in putting financial resources in common. In welcoming all this, one could truly echo the words of the woman at the well to Jesus in John 4: \u201cSir, this well is deep!\u201d Here are a few echoes from the Sisters after listening to the testimonies of the sisters from Europe-Togo: <\/p>

\u201cThank you! You have laboured with courage to live unity with diversity.\u201d<\/h5>
\u201cGrateful for your courage, creativity, audacity!\u201d<\/h5>
\u201cThe continuing letting go and receiving towards becoming one.\u201d<\/h5>
\u201cThe specific mission of each community (according to the \u201cbreath of Mazille\u201d) became a vital reality: \u201cnot everything everywhere.\u201d<\/h5>
\u201cIt takes time, patience, the desire to trust the other, and sharing.\u201d<\/h5>
\u201cDifficulties and even problems: of language, cultures, and personalities, all of this does not prevent drawing from communion. Thank you. One could say that you see difficulties as a stairway, but not as a wall when going toward the other.\u201d <\/h5>
\u201cI truly came to the source\u2026 I enlarged my horizon. I contemplated the goodness of each culture. I\u2019m still learning how to welcome the other as she is.\u201d<\/h5>
\u201cThank you, my thirst was truly quenched at this shared well. I drank in many experiences, and listening to the sharing of each one enriched my thirst to live interculturally. Truly, our well is very rich with LIFE. Thank you! The Congregation has embarked on \u201ca journey of encounter, experience and transformation,\u201d during which each Province shares its experiences, identity and gifts around a specific theme via videoconference.
