1. I take Psalm 23 (22)<\/div>

\"The Lord is my shepherd:
\nI shall not want.
\nHe makes me lie down in green pastures;
\nhe leads me beside still waters...
\nHe restores my soul;
\nSurely goodness and kindness shall follow me
\nall the days of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

2. I prepare myself<\/div>

The Lord is there, guiding me to this place. He offers me this rest not by chance but out of love. He always wants to take care of me: I am invited to trust him and let myself rest. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

3. I make a heartfelt request<\/div>

I confidently express what I want and ask for the grace to remain attentive to this moment: to keep the simplicity of a child lying in a meadow, to savour without rushing towards tomorrow, to welcome serenity as a gift.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

4. I enter the scene<\/div>

I imagine myself in the heart of these green meadows, by the side of a calm river, rocked by the soft light of the sun, feeling the grass under my feet and the breeze caressing my face.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

5. I observe my feelings<\/div>

What inner noises are calming down here? What physical or mental fatigue is being released? Perhaps plans, stress, anxieties... I let whatever I feel come to me in this moment of relaxation. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

6. I look at the Shepherd<\/div>

He is present, and his gestures and actions are focused on caring for me.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/div>
7. I listen to him<\/div>

I can hear within myself: \u201cYou lack nothing, rest, I am with you\u201d...
\nI listen to what this brings to my life.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

8. I savour<\/div>

I welcome the Lord's gestures and his Words as an invitation to do nothing else but savour his presence through everything I feel within myself!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Lord, you who lead me to green pastures and still waters,
\nteach me to listen to you in the silence of vacation.
\nI offer you my burdens. Grant me the grace to enjoy the freshness of your peace.
\nNever let me forget that you are with me, and that even in rest, you are faithful.
\nMake this time away from my usual routine a source of strength,
\nso that I may return renewed, enriched by your presence.
