Throughout the year, in its shade, our apostolic space of welcome.
Mango trees!
When its fruits arrive in abundance, it is an opportunity for “APOSTOLIC SERVICE” of sharing, listening, and welcoming. A true movement to satisfy hunger and the Spirit, true exchanges take place, sharing of lives; pains and joys, goods, and the generosity of those who always bring in their hands to contribute to our food. A true widow’s mite…
“The apostolate of mangoes” leads us to go out of ourselves and exercise our availability through visits (deliveries of mangoes) and welcoming those who come.

Adjusting our approach to contemporary needs
Diversity of the RITRIT audience
We provide spiritual guidance to people as they are, wherever they are in their lives. For the past four years, we have been part of the “Ritrit” platform, which makes it easy to find a place to go on retreat. We have seen people arrive who are unfamiliar with our churches, language or spiritual codes, caught up like the rest of us in today’s challenges. We have therefore adjusted the way we provide support, which requires a great deal of flexibility on our part:
welcome people for a 24- to 48-hour retreat due to the difficulty of taking time off (we usually recommend three days), offer two interviews per day to break the silence and support the day; provide more spiritual training with catechetical references; organise times of prayer in the park and nature to help people settle down, slow down, reconnect with their bodies and with time; seek accessible and meaningful vocabulary; introduce the experience of silence, including during meals… We are receiving more and more requests to help people make choices (studies, work, priorities, where to live, sexuality, etc.) or to rediscover hope in the face of political or climate anxiety. There is a great thirst to be listened to and to be able to share about faith: it’s beautiful!
We are constantly looking for ways to help each person find the path to their heart, to encounter God… and that is exciting!
