Every Friday during Lent, the Versailles community opens its doors to anyone who would like to join them for the “Word-Bread-Apple-Sharing” gathering.
On the menu: to mark the Congregation’s bicentennial, songs and readings from our founders’ writings, followed by a time of sharing and a simple meal of bread and an apple. A basket collects the money that would have been spent on a full meal. Towards the end of Lent, the group decides which charity the money will be donated to.
