A native of the Philippines, Sr. Beth is part of our international community that forms the general team in Rome. For more than 17 years she has been General Treasurer, which means she supervises the financial affairs of the Congregation.
From July 15 to 19, Sr. Beth joined 41 participants from various countries, religious congregations, and dioceses at the second edition of the International Workshop on Transparency, Accountability and Evaluation in the Catholic Church: A Practical Journey , held at the Irish College.

Through interactive sessions, bishops, priests, religious treasurers, and lay finance directors explored the values of financial transparency and accountability in today’s Church. The workshop also highlighted the need for formation and training in leadership, especially for those with governance and financial responsibilities.
For Sr. Beth, the workshop affirmed many of the initiatives already underway in the Cenacle Congregation. It introduced practical tools for financial planning, reporting, and real estate management — all aimed at helping to better communicate the story of the Cenacle mission. These tools support their ongoing journey to live as an international, apostolic, discerning Body that seeks to be accountable to one another and to the people they serve.
The experience was a reminder that transparency, accountability, and formation aren’t just practical needs — they’re part of how one can stay faithful to the mission one is entrusted with.
