On Saturday June 21, 2025, Sister Cécile Direz pronounced her perpetual profession, responding to Christ’s call and love.
She is now a permanent member of the Sisters of Our Lady of the Cenacle.

The Congregation has embarked on “a journey of encounter, experience and transformation,” during which each Province shares its experiences, identity and gifts around a specific theme via videoconference. The Province of Europe-Togo continued this journey in May and June.

In the Congregation of Our Lady of the Cenacle, the pilgrimage of the Tertiaries marks an essential step for sisters in their Third year – the final stage of Temporary Profession, as they prepare their perpetual vows.
As they draw closer to this definitive commitment, this itinerant retreat is an invitation to deepen their call, to reflect on the journey already traveled, and to renew their “yes” with greater inner freedom.

In his annual publication of prayer intentions for 2025, Pope Francis had invited the faithful to pray during the month of May “For working conditions.” However, due to his passing, the format for the Pope Video accompanying this prayer intention has changed to now offer reflections from the late Popes Francis, Benedict XVI and John Paul II.
