“... God so loved the world...”
No words can express in depth the Mystery we are about to contemplate… Only silence will help us understand this event…
In the Incarnation God HEARS the cry of his people and descends…
“I have witnessed the affliction of my people… I have HEARD their cry… Therefore I have come down to rescue them”
Exodus 3:7-8
ENTER the Mystery of the Incarnation of God, in which God becomes a concrete man at a concrete moment in history.
Listening to a world longing for salvation, a world in need of love and attention. Listening to people in their various needs…
Listening to reality as God listens to it, with the ear of the heart: a fragmented world, people who suffer in silence, chaos, the diversity of pain, conflicts that engender suffering, exclusion, death… this reality often provokes in us an inner deafness.
Bring these realities to your mind, to your heart. Let them speak to you.

Incarnation occurs in this world of misery, noise and pain...
Contemplate the Trinity listening to the cry of the world, its suffering, its misery, its contrasts… where all kinds of aggressions against life are perpetrated, generating violence, pain and exclusion.
The Trinity takes the side of LIFE, lowering itself to the point of annihilation (kenosis) in the person of Jesus, who assumes the human condition.
“Let us make the Redemption of the human race”
Spiritual Exercises, 107
In the Incarnation, God draws close to humanity, embracing it where it is weakest and most threatened.

– As you listen to this Mystery, let your being resonate with the call to be an ” incarnated presence ” in the reality in which you find yourself. A reality that often lacks life, beauty, humanization and peace.
– How can I become Flesh and Life in this reality?
